Research Scholars Program conducts position in National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB)

The current research themes include: Bacteriology, Parasitology, Virology and Reproductive biology.

Eligibility : Master’s degree in any branch of Science, Technology, including Veterinary /Agricultural Sciences from a recognized University/Institute. Candidates who have not completed their final year/fourth semester examination are not eligible for RSP I-2016.

Candidates (other than MVSC graduates) must have obtained the CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/ INSPIRE NET JRF/ UGC-RGNF (for SC/ST candidates) or any other national research fellowship for carrying out research at NIAB. Candidates having qualified for the project –JRF fellowship under the ICMR funded project Scheme [which is only for a period of two years] and those who have qualified DBT JRF NET with B. Tech [Biotechnology] degree are NOT eligible to apply. MVSC candidates are exempted from any of the eligibility tests mentioned herein but must be below the age of 28 years as on the last date for receipt of application. Only those candidates will be allowed to appear for the NIAB RSP-I-2016 interview who produce proof of having cleared the fellowship exam with valid dates.
